Sharyn Lee (1948-)

Sharyn Lee grew up in Sydney. Sharyn got involved in the roller derby scene in the late 1960s, skating for the Western Suburbs Vampires and touring in SE Asia. In this interview, Sharyn talks about the development of roller derby in Australia, and the influence of American roller derby culture on the Australian scene. She talks about her long association with business woman Dawn O'Donnell through her work at various carpark businesses and in the hotel/club scene. Sharyn also recalls her involvement in the First Mardi Gras.
