EARLI PROJECT LIFE STORIES

Pride History Group has worked with the UNSW EARLI team and program participants to make written life stories available with permission from participants. The Enhanced Advance care planning and life Review Longitudinal Intervention (EARLI) project, led by UNSW Sydney, aims to improve advance care planning in community aged care settings through a program combining life story work and facilitated advance care planning discussions.

John’s story charts his life journey in his own words.

From growing up in Albury to living in Sydney and the Blue Mountains where he worked as an architect and shared his life with his partner, Robert.

John also shares his experiences of living with HIV and being part of the LGBTIQ community.
